Michael has been working as a pratitioner now for 4 years, he originally left Strabane at 15 yrs old to follow a career and become a jockey as he was always very keen on horses from an early age.

After years of injury free working, in 1995 he injured his back. Two years afterwards he was still not able to work and he was still on painkillers but wanted to stop taking them. Michael realized he needed alternative pain management. He became a patient of Tui Na Chinese massage therapy at the Bodyharmonics Centre in Cheltenham, Gloucester,

He was so impressed by Tui Na Chinese massage he decided to study and train in Tui Na massage himself.

Michael was trained by Maria Mercati at the Bodyharmonics centre in Cheltenham Gloucestershire where he studied and trained for his ITEC Diploma.
