HYPNOTHERAPY

It may sound logical and obvious - but very true nevertheless - to say that life is to be enjoyed and that each and every hour of every day should be carefully utilised by all of us. We are all aware of how time seems to fly, especially as we grow older. It has been said that this life in which we find ourselves is not a rehearsal but the real thing. We can be very sure of that one fact in a world where there is too much uncertainty.

Many experiences in life can, at the best of times, make existence less than perfect and at worst, make it intolerable. As a result it is quite possible for any individual to suffer from stress, anxiety, panic, feeling bad, lack of self-worth and confidence; to name a few but a few possibilities. The circumstances that contributed to these factors can obviously lessen considerably the quality of existence and therefore the level of performance during the one-off experience that is called "life". The good news is that this does not necessarily have to happen. It is possible to "fire on more than two cylinders" if the desire is there to effect positive change. In our lives we can significantly minimise or totally eradicate the negative influences brought about by the conditions outlined above. When in a state of complete relaxation our subconscious minds are very receptive to positive suggestions and visualisations that can become part of our make-up. The process is perfectly natural and one that everyone experiences in life, sometimes without realising it, when for instance, one gets lost in one inner thoughts whilst driving a motor vehicle, watching television, listening to music or perhaps reading a book. Consequently any individual can enjoy the process without loosing personal control. In doing so, a wide range of personal benefits can become manifest. In addition, circumstances that happen to individuals at an early age - or later in life, or perhaps unpleasant and negative things that have been said, can all go towards lowering confidence and self-esteem levels, thus leading to a less than perfect or enjoyable experience of life.

In view of the resultant difficulties that many people are experiencing within this context and the allied problems that seem to grow with the increased demands of modern life, it’s worth taking measures to put the zest back in life. The point has already been made that in this modern world, stress and strain most definitely takes its toll on us, especially if it is left unchecked and allowed, perhaps, to develop into other unwanted conditions. The Pace of life is fast with many demands and schedules to meet. This in turn can affect our personal lives, work and relationships - and the decisions we make - with the entire individual trauma that follows.

Clinical Hypnotherapy can greatly assist with many issues, and through a process of gradual relaxation, the subconscious mind can be addressed with the objective of greatly reducing, or totally eradicating the unwanted thoughts and emotions, plus implanting a positive, quality, empowering perspective in their place. All that is needed, basically, is a desire for improvement and the ability to cooperate.
